Peer groups enable business owners to process issues, sometimes vent, and get suggestions on better ways to approach problems. Peer groups helped me grow my business by growing the business. We sold it for 15 times EBITDA. I owe much of the business success to my fellow business owners in WPO and Vistage. Running a business can be lonely and frustrating. A peer group is a resource for problem solving and great discussions about typical business challenges.
